February 11- 15 is Teacher Appreciation Week! Be sure to show a teacher how much you appreciate them. We are very grateful for all the wonderful, kind, thoughtful, and dedicated teachers we have at SKJH.
February is Kindness Month. We encourage everyone to always be kind and respectful at all times. February 27 is PINK DAY - STAND UP TO BULLYING. We encourage all students and staff to wear pink on this day to show their support. A little kindness goes a long way.
SCHOOL PARKING LOT AND GROUNDS
Please take extra caution when driving on and around our school grounds. If you are dropping off or picking up your child at anytime, we do ask that you park in a DESIGNATED PARKING SPOTS ONLY. We are asking that you NOT park near our school gates, on crosswalks or in the traffic lanes. It is very important that we keep the lane of "moving" traffic "moving", and that this is not blocked by parked cars. We do appreciate your cooperation in keeping all of our students safe.
Semester 1 Courses - Final Grades will be posted on powerschool by the end of the day Friday, February 8.
School Development Surveys
The Department of Education School Development Surveys are a great way to give us feedback on our school culture and climate. We use this feedback to improve our school and the overall school experience for all. All students and staff will complete the surveys here at the school. We do ask that parents/guardians take a few minutes of their time to complete the survey for us. https://www.research.net/r/SDFamily1819EN is the link for the parent/guardian survey. This link will open on Monday February 11 and will close on Friday March 15.
